Family Access & Control
Control who sees what, when. Executor flows, Trusted Contact, and family briefing.
What is it?
Family Access lets you decide who can see your inventory, will, and documents—and when. You can use it for yourself, help a parent or spouse set it up, or act as an executor when someone has named you.
You can invite family members by email and assign roles: executor, Trusted Contact, or viewer. Each role has different permissions. You can also keep everything private until the right moment.
Why does it matter?
Your family needs to know where things are, but you might not want everyone to see everything right now. Family Access gives you control. You decide who gets access and when.
For executors, it means one place to go when the time comes. No hunting for papers or guessing what's where.
How to use it
Start by choosing your flow: managing for yourself, helping someone else, or acting as executor. Each flow has different steps.
Invite family members by email. They'll get a link to set up their account and view what you've shared. You can change permissions anytime.
Tips
Talk to your executor before naming them. Make sure they're willing and comfortable.
A Trusted Contact is someone who can be notified in emergencies but doesn't need full access. Useful for adult children or siblings.
