Family Meeting Agenda

Opening (5 min): Set the tone. This is not about death, it is about making sure the family is protected. Share a statistic: 73% of Indians die without a plan, and families lose an average of ₹50L to ₹2Cr.

Share the plan (15 min): Walk through what you have documented so far. Show the Sort My Legacy dashboard or a printed summary. Cover assets, nominees, will status, and who the executor is.

Address concerns (15 min): Let everyone ask questions. Common questions: Who gets what? What about the house? What if we disagree? Answer honestly and explain your reasoning.

Assign responsibilities (10 min): Name who will handle banking, who will handle property, who will manage insurance claims. Make sure the executor is agreed upon by all.
